You can use the play paper money to reward kids. For example, every time they tidy their room, they get one play dollar. When they save $20, they can get a special treat. You can either use the money instead of behavior charts or together with a behavior chart. For example, once they complete a behavior chart, they get $5, and when they save $50, they get a special prize. The printable play money can also be used in various games and can be a fun way to teach kids about money, small change, and basic mathematics. FAQ

Yes, you can upload a photo of each child, a class photo, or you can choose people that the class feels deserve to appear on the play money. You can also upload a school logo. If you want to make a classroom fake money printable then click on “Add Text” to add your class details.
The file can only be downloaded as a PDF file or as an image file. The best way is to download it to your computer and then print the file. You can also try printing directly from the play money maker, but the results are often not as good, depending on your printer’s settings.
Give reward bucks right after a child or student behaves well. Over time, behavior improves based on a theory called token economy. This is a form of behavior modification designed to increase desirable behavior and decrease undesirable behavior with the use of tokens (in this case, play money). You give children the “behavior bucks” (play money) immediately after they display desirable behavior. They can exchange fake money for a reward or privilege. Teachers can use this method at school, and parents can use it at home.
You can control the size with your printer’s settings. Most printers enable you to determine how many copies of an image will be duplicated on a page. For life-sized notes print about four copies per page depending on your printer. If you want to print mini money then select as many copies as your printer allows on one page.
Brenda,
The money should be pretty much the same size as real money but if you want to reduce the size then you can do so by changing your printer’s settings. Each printer is different but once you click on print you can usually make the image smaller or print two pages on one in which case you will get 6 bills per page.
I really wish that the $5, 10 and 20 were available as well. This is the best template which I have found to be able to have realistic looking money and still be able to edit the photos to use in the classroom. Students will have to have the cheap looking editable money for the missing denominations in order to practice using all the denominations. Please let me know when the others are available.
